Louis Lingg rebukes the court as they pass a death sentence on him. He stood falsely accused of bombing a crowd during the Haymarket Riot in 1886. Rather than allow the state to hang him, he detonated an explosive in his mouth, and allegedly scrawled “Hoch die Anarchie!” (Hurrah for anarchy) on his jail cell wall in his own blood while dying.
The state is guilty of many crimes against its own citizens, and it’s not something new. Here I introduce the show and some reasons to be against the government– ideas that may sound radical to many people, because we’ve never known anything but this undercover slavery.
